Resource manager: We are seeking to appoint a Resource Manager to join
Nells Cuddly tots. Our staff are passionate, pioneering and strive for

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children, and ideally
experience of supporting teachers and Early Years practioners in the Nursery environment.
They will be able to multi-task and priortise their own workload with good attention to
detail. It is essential that the candidate is commited to the NCT values and is a team
player.
BASIC FUNCTION: It is the responsibility of the Resource Manager to provide all necessary
paperwork/invoices/recieptts to facilitate effective financial record-keeping.
ACCOUNTABILITY: The resource manager is accountable to the Head, Early Education, fro day-to
-day tasks.
AUTHORITY: The resource Manager has authority as delegated by the Head, Early Education
The Resource Manager works closely with all the members of the staff over invoicing queries
/ discrepancies
Process all invoices, sending to budget holders for approval and returning
to purchase ledger once approved
Note reciepts and reimbursements to staff for budgets
Assist with the financial administration of Book week
Maintain records of credit card spend and liase with cashier on a timely basis
to record each month's spend
(b) Resource ordering and distribution
Place all orders as requested by individual budget holders- both
large annual orders.
Record all amazon orders, invoices and receipts to ensure items
accounted for and approved
Arrange for inspection copies of books and other items- then arrange payment or
return as appropriate
Negotiate discount with suppliers
Manage the arrival and distribution of resources and return of damaged items
(c) Management of stock/ catering
Keep a stock of Stationery for staffrooms and keep products to
sell to parents, including school bags and reading folders, re-ordering as necessary
Keep a stock of tea and coffee for three staffrooms and replenish as necesary
Organising catering for staff for various events throughout the year,
in particular Parent interviews
(d) Other
Assist with course bookings and associated paperwork for Guidance and staff training
Organise flower for staff
Assist with booking year group events including Owl magic
(e) Pastoral care
The resource manager has a shared responsibility with other Ravelston staff
to help and support children by listening to the concern children express to them and to help
to answer their day-to-day inquiries.
(f) Other tasks
The Resource Manager will undertake other tasks as directed by their Line Manager or other
member of management
Experience of working with budget holders and key external firms
Previous experience of working in a school or education setting
Business administration qualification or other relevant qalification/skills/abilities
Excellent communication skills(orally and in writing) and interpersonal skills
Experience of building professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Proficient in the full Microsoft Office Package, specifically word and excel
Abilty to multi-task and priortise own workload with good attention to detail
Independent, self-motivated and organised, with an ability to work as part of a team
Experience of sharepoint and PASS
